Casey Among Group Receiving IECA Katz Award
The Independent Educational Consultants (IECA) honored a group of consultants with the Katz Award at their November 2017 conference in Washington DC, including Educational Advocates’ Joan Casey. The Katz Award honors those members of IECA who make extraordinary voluntary contributions of their time and talents to organizations that benefit children. Each member of the group counseled students participating in the Possibility Project— a performing arts and community action program that empowers urban youth.
